This multipurpose theatre is a regular venue for touring musicals, dance and a wide variety of theatre and drama productions.
Its frequent use as a concert venue led the theatre management to look for the best dimmers available to ensure a quiet auditorium for classical concerts.
The result was an IES Matrix installation, completed in September 2002 including 132 x 2.5kW, 48 x 5kW and 6 x 10kW Matrix sine wave dimmer channels. The dimmers were installed in specially-ventilated cabinets with glazed front doors.
