The first part of the total refurbishment of the Lyttelton Theatre’s lighting system was completed in October 2002 with the installation of Matrix sine wave dimmers in the basement dimmer room. The Matrix dimmers supply silent dimming power to the stage floor area.
The custom cabinet suite includes 120 x 2.5kW sine wave dimmers, 12 x 5kW sine wave dimmers, dual processors, individual output MCBs per circuit, main power remote switching, auxiliary switching circuits, touch-screen DimSTAT dimmer status monitoring (with network capability) and DMX data distribution and cat5 (RJ45) patch bays.
