Client Prefrences
Cabinet design
IES is happy to discuss alternative types of 19" equipment cabinets to match your requirements. Existing 19" equipment cabinets can in some instances be re-used for installing Matrix components.
Switchgear
IES can accommodate a client's preferences for a specific switchgear manufacturer to match the supplier of switchgear elsewhere in the venue.
Cable entry
The flexibility of the Matrix design will fit in with specific cable entry requirements.
Installation
IES can supply dimmers to order for others to install, or provide installation directly from Holland.
Warranty and maintenance
Additional warranty (standard 2 years for IGBT) is available on request.
Cabinet Options
Size and capacity
Two standard size 19" equipment cabinets are available: 2m high for 36 modules or 1.6m high for 27 modules. Other heights are available.
Front only or front/rear access
For the highest density, front and rear access is recommended. In this way terminations can be installed at the rear of each 19" cabinet.
For front-only installations there are two options. Either the cabinets are equipped with dimmers at the top and terminations below, or two fully-equipped cabinets can be supplied with third cabinet exclusively for terminations.
Power Options
Power supplies
The standard wiring scheme is for 3-phase star, but delta supplies can be accommodated to order.
Main switchgear
Main breakers, remote controlled mains switches and upstream power distribution can be designed into the system with matching cabinets where required.
Auxiliary circuits
Auxiliary switch-only circuit terminations, MCBs etc can be accommodated within dimmer cabinets or in separate matching cabinets as required, subject to safety restrictions preventing access to two separate mains supply feeds within the same enclosure.
Power monitoring
A digital power monitor is available for recording voltage, current and power factor and relaying the data through the DimSTAT status reporting network.
Load MCBs
Optional load MCBs can be fitted to matching cabinets as required to special order.
Auxiliary Options

Auxiliary switch-only circuit terminations, MCBs etc can be accommodated within dimmer cabinets or in separate matching cabinets as required, subject to safety restrictions preventing access to two separate mains supply feeds within the same enclosure.
